1. How do I make an appointment?
Use the same process for SSC tutoring by logging on to TutorTrac. We also have drop-in hours at the CCRH 115, Sunday-Thursday, 6-8pm.
2. What should I do if I have to cancel my appointment?
Cancel through TutorTrac no less than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to cancel through TutorTrac, or canceling within 24 hours will mark you as a "no-show". Three "no-shows" will mark you as inactive, and you will be unable to schedule another appointment until you meet with the coordinator.
3. I have no clue what to write for my paper. Can I still get tutoring?
We welcome writers at any stage of their project. Even if you have nothing written, Writing Center tutors can discuss your ideas to help you find a focus.
4. My history paper is due in an hour. Can I just drop by and have you check my punctuation?
Checking punctuation falls under proofreading, and Writing Center tutors focus on your writing process. Our goal is to help you improve your writing skills. We don't proofread.
