Hello UAHuntsville Students,
Welcome to UAHuntsville. We are very happy and proud you have chosen UAH. I received my undergraduate degree from Valdosta State University where I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and was a student leader. I love my college experience and had a mentor that helped me figure out a way to my college life my career. I went to Mississippi State University and earned a masters degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. Shortly after graduating I came to UAH and have been here for five years working in University Housing and now at the Student Success Center. I think I have the best job on campus and love working with you. The transition from High school to college is not easy but with a little help you will do great. Stop by my office anytime and let’s see what resources I might have that will help you reach your academic goals.

I am originally from North Carolina where I earned my B.A. in Philosophy and Religion and a minor in Psychology from Appalachian State University. I then received my graduate degree in English from UAHuntsville and continued teaching here for two years before working in the SSC. I am excited for the opportunity to work one-on-one with you and to create a plan for you to have a successful year here at UAHuntsville.

As an academic coach, I am here to encourage and support you in your academic endeavors at UAHuntsville. I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling from Auburn University. After graduating, I moved to Huntsville and began working in Enrollment Services Department at UAHuntsville. I worked in a student support role there for over 2 years before becoming an Academic Coach here in the Student Success Center. I love working with college students and helping them discover that they have what it takes to succeed! I look forward to helping you identify your strengths and reach your goals.
