Students are an excellent temporary staffing resource.  If your positions are flexible and can accommodate class schedules, consider employing a UAHuntsville student.  Student jobs are charged to the individual department accounts and require a position number.

The Career Development Office uses an on-line career management system, Charger Path, to link students and employers.   Using Charger Path, employers can post a position and view student materials.  Follow the steps below to recruit a UAHuntsville student:

Step 1 – Contact Johnny Johnson (extension 2241) to determine the classification of the position and receive a position number.  For each new student hired and for each promotion, a Student Employee Job Description Form must be completed.  Forms are available from the right-hand column.

Step 2 – Create or login to your Charger Path account, post a position and review applicants.  The Charger Path Quick Guide is available from the right-hand column.

Step 3 – Once a student is identified for hire, follow the steps in the document "Steps for Hire" available from the right-hand column.
